Danny teams up with Kent Cycles

Danny Webb, Kent’s young grand prix motorcyclist today joined forces with Kent Cycles RC, Kent’s foremost cycle racing team.

Kent Cycles RC will be supplying Danny with professional equipment in order that he can continue his training programme whilst travelling the world pursuing his goal to become the 2011 125 MotoGP World Champion. Danny will also be training with the cycle race team when he is in the UK.

Danny said:

‘Its fantastic to have such a good company and bunch of guys behind me. It’s a big help having great equipment and experienced advice supporting my training. I’m sure this relationship is going to help my career and I can’t thank everyone at Kent Cycles RC enough’

Danny Webb is a young rider from Kent in the UK who, at the age of 19, already boasts a wealth of experience. He began his riding career at the age of six, when he participated in the British Junior Motocross championship before switching onto the track with the Mini Moto championship after three years. For 2011, Danny has signed a two-year deal to ride for Mahindra Racing in the 125cc class this year as their lead and development rider and, from 2012, the newly formed Moto3 class. 

Kent Cycles is an established cycle retail shop and servicing centre in Strood, Kent now trading under the name of Geoff Wiles Cycle Centre, run by avid cycling enthusiasts. They specialise in racing and time trial cycles and equipment, and carry a vast range of lightweight bikes, frames and components.
