With very nice and Sunny weather circumstances, today ended the official IRTA test at Jerez circuit in Spain. Randy Krummenacher made a big step in the right direction and ended in the 125cc session at the 7th position. Danny Webb nearly manages to ride the same lap time from Thursday and ended in this session at the 9th position. The DeGraaf Grand Prix Team will continue testing in Qatar at the 6th and 7th of April and a few days later the 2009 season will get started. The last two test days will be used to get a better set-up of the Aprilia RSA and will be ready for the first Grand Prix.

Danny Webb (17th, 1:48,838):

“We ended the test with no better lap time than Thursday. I’m happy how it went today despite I didn’t went faster. I learned these days a lot how the RSA bike is working and have faith for the next test in Qatar. We will have an adjustment at the front fork and I’m convinced that this will be an improvement. I can’t wait to test again and have a couple of days later the first Grand Prix.”

This second day of the IRTA Test the DeGraaf Grand Prix team made a lot of progression. The weather was really good with a lot of sun and temperatures of 25 degrees. Randy Krummenacher and Danny Webb manage to improve their lap times. The British teenager Danny Webb was one and half second faster today and Swiss rider Randy Krummenacher manage to ride one second faster. The DeGraaf Grand Prix Team is at the right direction and expect to make more progression on the last test day tomorrow.

Danny Webb (14th, 1:48,665):

“This was a good day for me and the team. We made a lot of progression and I have a better feeling with the bike. The engine is strong and we are going in the right direction with the suspension set-up. We still not on the set-up we want but we are getting there.”

The official IRTA test at the Spanish circuit of Jerez de la started today. It was a hard day for the DeGraaf Grand Prix team. The riders Randy Krummenacher and Danny Webb rode a lot today and it was difficult for the team to find the right set-up. At the end of the day it went better but still not to our satisfaction. Randy Krummenacher ended the day at the 18th position and Danny Webb at the 19th position.

Danny Webb (19th, 1:50,244):

“This was the first day of the three day test. It was an okay day but I’m not entirely satisfied yet. We still had a few problems in the morning. In the afternoon it started to get better and I felt I was getting back to my old self. We still need a lot more data to set-up the bike. I feel there is a lot of potential in the bike but we need to work to get the potential out of the bike by riding a lot of laps to get more data. This was only the first day and I’m confident for the next two days.”
